Nitropolis 2: Stakes & Slot RTP

Nitropolis 2 starts out as a pretty much traditional video slot with 6 reels, 4 rows and 4,096 ways to win. All winning combinations start from left to right with at least 3 matching symbols landing on adjacent reels.

The stakes are pretty standard too. You can start spinning for as little as 20p per spin. Max bet is £100 per spin. Auto Mode and Quick Play Mode are also available. You can make the machine play for you by adjusting the auto spin selector to 10, 25, 50 or 100 auto spins.

The RTP level in Nitropolis 2 comes in at slightly below average. With a 95% rate it’s actually below the original Nitropolis slot which has an RTP of 96%. That said, this is a high-volatility game with a 20% hit frequency and wins that can land at 10,000x your stake per spin.

Nitropolis 2: Audio & Design

Call it post-apocalyptic or futuristic or even dystopian. This is a slot that presents players with a world of grime, steel and chemicals in which canine clans fight for power. The design has clearly been inspired by the world of comics, preserving the visuals of the original game. A cool punk-rock soundtrack plays in the background, occasionally punctured by sound effects highlighting whatever is happening on the grid.

The grid itself is mainstream with symbols including A, K, Q and J royals, Wanted posters, a Pest Control poster and posters of the main characters. The highest value symbol is the Pest Sergeant who rewards players with 0.7, 0.8, 0.9 or 1x total stake for 3, 4, 5 or 6 symbols in a winning combination. The wild symbol is basically a no dog poop sign. It substitutes all symbols except for the Nitro Wolf bonus symbol.

Nitropolis 2: Bonus Features

There’s a whopping 12 bonus features in Nitropolis 2 that can be grouped into two chief features: Nitro Reels and Nitro Boosters. The Nitro Reels increase the number of ways to win with up to 12 payout symbols. The Nitro Boosters give you respins and win-both-ways payouts. Let’s take a closer look.

Nitro Reels 

The Nitro Reels feature is basically what you need to hit it big. On any random spin, the Nitro Reels can put an extra spin on your game by covering 2 positions on the grid. Each reel comes with extra payout symbols: 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12. You’ll know how many symbols have been added because these are literally added to the grid. So if it’s 6 symbols, all of them will appear across positions. Above the game grid is a box that tells you how many ways to win you’re currently playing with. Since each reel can house up to 24 symbols there are 191,102,976 ways to win. Now how about that?

Nitro Boosters

12 bonus features may sound like a lot (and it is) which is why Elk Studios has added a bonus feature reel above the base game grid. On this reel, 8 bonus feature symbols can appear, nudging the reels below so you’ll never lose sight of where you are in the game. Here are the eight features explained:

Both Ways feature: all winning combinations are paid both ways

Winning Respin feature: all symbols and Nitro Reels are locked in position and respin until no more winning combinations are formed.

Nitropolis 2: Slot Review Summary

In terms of gameplay and mechanics, Nitropolis 2 is almost identical to the original Nitropolis slot.
